We have been focused on engine oil purification since 2003, and have vast experience. But what is engine oil purification?
Oil purification is the process of passing oil through a high efficiency filter which removes foreign matter. The oil is purified, cleansed, purged of the contamination, leaving clean oil that can be re-used or continued to be used.

Why do we need oil purification?
Engine oils are critical to the health and smooth running of any engine, and yet are under extreme stress constantly. The oil has to withstand very high temperatures, pressure, shearing and inflow of contamination from combustion gases. When you stop and think about this, it's really quite amazing how our engines run so well, and yet we take it for granted. However, the oil in the engine has a limit to how much abuse it can take. The equipment manufacturers factor in a safety margin for this, which we know as the service interval. By way of testing and oil analysis the manufacturers establish an oil life that is safe and financially viable. In cars the oil service interval is set in miles and in off-road equipment is is set in hours.

Oil purification is the process of cleaning the oil to a much higher standard than the factory fitted engine oil filter. The cleaner oil can then be used for longer periods without detrimental affect. In certain circumstances there are financial benefits to increase oil life. An easy example of this would be off-shore equipment, where the cost to service an engine is extremely high due to location and logistics.
Other sectors to benefit from increased oil life include:
- Landfill Gas Power Generation
- Sewage Gas Power Generation
- Prime Diesel Power Generation
- Temporary Diesel Power Generation
- And more.
